Blaby Comedy Asylum has been running for a couple of weeks now, but we could do with a few more members.
You do not have to think you are funny, and you don't have to perform if you don't want to. Members are writing, socialising, making props, singing songs – whatever they feel they can do and enjoy. The sessions run Wednesdays 1-3pm at the Civic Centre.

Blaby District Council has won a major national award after being shortlisted in the annual LGC Awards for the New Lubbesthorpe development.
The Council was shortlisted in the Housing Initiative category, which looked at how local authorities devise imaginative solutions to ease problems including a shortage of both market and affordable housing.
