Two people have been fined by Leicester Magistrates' Court for failing to ensure their dogs were identifiable by a collar or tag after being picked up as strays in the district.

TRRO - Wheatfield Close 22nd October 2018

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location: Wheatfield Close , Glenfield (see plan attached).

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Severn Trent Water contractors to facilitate manhole cover and frame repairs within the carriageway.

Consultation launches on Council Tax Support changes

A consultation on changes to the Council Tax Support Scheme has been launched by Blaby District Council from 17 August 2018, closing on 30 September 2018.

Following significant reductions in central government funding, the Council no longer receives money based on the Council Tax support provided to households. This money must now be found by Blaby District Council through its central budget.

£4000 fine for untidy land in Sapcote

A Sapcote land owner has been ordered to pay £4,061 by Loughborough Magistrates' Court for failing to comply with a Community Protection Notice.

John Mac of Hinckley Road, Wolvey, was found guilty and fined £1,500 and ordered to pay costs of £2,411 as well as a victim surcharge of £150.
