Mill Lane Dog Exercise Area NOW OPEN
The dog exercise area on Mill Lane, just past the allotments, is now open for use for dog walkers who wish to let their dogs off the lead. There is a double entry system for added safety and the whole area has been installed with wire mesh fencing to keep the area secure. Dog bins have been provided and we urge those using the area to pick up after their dogs please.

Sports Awards 2019
Blaby District Council are pleased to announce that nominations for their upcoming Sports Awards are now open!
This year they are celebrating ten years of Sports Awards and therefore are hoping to make the evening extra special.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER:- LIBERTY ROAD, GLENFIELD
Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
A road closure is required on Liberty Road between Dominion Road and Sports Road on the 15th August 2019 for one day between 09:00 and 15:00.

New dual ANPR and speed enforcement camera installed
The Parish Council's new dual ANPR and speed enforcement camera (Westcotec Traffic Safety Systems), which automatically photographs and registers the number plate of those vehicles travelling over the designated speed limit for that area has been installed today on Elmtree Avenue.
