Walk 4 – Castle Hill
This walk can be started from various places but you have to end up either walking down Gynsill Lane towards Anstey or along the footpath running parallel with it along Rothley Brook. This can be picked up from the A50 facing the petrol station or through the Sports Ground.
It can be as long as you wish to make it as there are many interesting loops off but the basic circular is about 5 miles, moderate going and generally good footing. Parking is available at the car park on Station Road, Glenfield, by the Methodist chapel which was built in 1877 but people have worshiped on the spot since 1794.
